Soup: German Potato Soup – by AussieAndrea Luminos

German Potato Soup (serves 6-8)
6 rashers bacon
4 large onions
6 large potatoes (evenly sliced)
1 carton sour cream
6 cups chicken stock
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
salt and pepper

Chop bacon and onion, melt butter in large saucepan and saute bacon and onion
until onion is clear. stir in flour, then gradually add chicken stock. add sliced
potatoes, sour cream and salt and pepper to taste.. simmer until potato is cooked.
serve with hot crusty bread..
